The Indian and the England team began their quarantine period from the 27th of January and after seven days of inactivity, players from both sides started their training on the 2nd of February. The first two tests will be played in Chennai and the next two tests will be hosted by the newly built Motera in Ahmedabad. The first test of the four-match test series which begins on the 5th of february will be played behind closed doors while the second test has been given the nod by the TNCA to welcome 50% crowds. According to a few reports, the final two test matches at Ahmedabad are likely to go ahead with 50% crowds in the stadium.

All five T20’s will also be played at Ahmedabad followed by the three one-day internationals at Pune.
